Meet Anthony from Anthony's Fine Bread
You guessed it, my background is Italian, and my love for the fine breads of Italy has led me to this business.
I love the chunky flavours of a typical Italian bread. I love the firm crust a stone baking shelf gives our breads. I love going to Italy every second year to track down new recipes and different styles. And if I can find a new way to bake, or a different way to present a bread, I’ll try it.
I love bread. I love sitting down to a fine meal, with my favourite bread next to me. I love it for breakfast, I love it for lunch. I love my soccer. I love dealing with my customers, my staff and the people who eat my breads.
Yes, I’m passionate about what I do. And you’ll find a little of that passion in every loaf you try. I reckon that’s our secret ingredient! So take pleasure in our breads, secure in the knowledge that we care greatly about what we present and want nothing more than to give you the very finest breads we can.

It’s tough being the head baker because occasionally you have to reign in the boss!
Which is hard when you’re equally passionate!
I love bread. I especially love experimenting with new flavours. I want my breads to be innovative. Special. To be breads that taste great and are good for you.
From time to time, I want to push the envelope and come up with a truly different taste in a bread that people say ‘wow!’ to. I make it my job to drive the best out of our people, to show them what a little passion can do. And I’m meticulous about cleanliness in our preparation areas. The result is breads you can feast on! Breads you can present for breakfast, lunch or the finest dinner! Breads you’ll ask for by name.
